The Immortal Jellyfish (Turritopsis nutricula, OP) is among the worlds few ‘immortal’ specimens. The jellyfish is able to revert back to its juvenile state when conditions become unfavorable, allowing it to bypass death. When conditions become favorable, the anemone can mature back into the medusa form of the jellyfish. This process can go on indefinitely under ideal conditions, rendering the jellyfish biologically immortal.

WHAT!
